Most real estate gifts are rejected by receiving organizations due to perceived risks, and ultimately the difficulty in converting them to cash. In response to this challenge, The CCIM Institute Foundation’s Real Estate Gifting Program was established to successfully complete transactions from start to finish that involve gifts of real estate.
The CCIM Institute Foundation can be a recipient of real estate gifts in their entirety, or on a shared basis with other qualified organizations. Gift options include: Outright Donations; Bargain Sales; Charitable Remainder Trusts; and Bequests. The CCIM Institute Foundation cannot accept donated properties from outside the United States of America. In those instances, we recommend you contact a local charity in your marketplace to assess its interest in assisting you. Also, The CCIM Institute Foundation does not match charities looking for a possible donation of real property for use as its headquarters.
