We’re proud to report that our impact on the lives of individuals in pursuit of excellence in commercial real estate continues to be significant, even profound, and is growing every year.
In 2024 alone, we:
Donate Now- Matched funds for six new Named Education Scholarships
- Awarded seven Opportunity Scholarships to cover Designation courses and fees
- Awarded seven Veterans Scholarships to cover Designation courses, travel and fees
- Raised more than $100,000 during a fundraiser at the 2024 Spring Governance Meeting
Impacting Lives Through Scholarships
One of the shared goals of both The CCIM Institute and The CCIM Institute Foundation is to inspire and support individuals on the pathway to becoming a CCIM. By providing financial assistance in the form of scholarships, The CCIM Institute Foundation helps worthy CCIM candidates reduce the financial burden of education required to achieve that goal. Additionally, both the Opportunity Scholarship and the Veterans Scholarship programs are targeted to individuals who represent incredible capacity for excellence in commercial real estate but who might face financial and other obstacles to realizing their dream of becoming a CCIM. In turn, many of these individuals also become ambassadors for The CCIM Institute, the Foundation, and for promoting professional excellence in the field of commercial real estate.

I have delayed my pursuit of the CCIM Designation, as all three of my children have been in college at the same time. My wife and I have happily sacrificed to ensure our children’s quality education at The Virginia Military Institute. This scholarship allows me to begin my ‘Path to the Pin’ immediately, when it would otherwise be unfeasible. In fact, the day I was notified of this award, I registered for the very first available CI 101 course in my area. I am ever so grateful to the donors who have made this possible.”
