Darbin Skeans, CCIM, is a Senior Advisor with Sperry Van Ness, bringing over 31 years of expertise to commercial real estate. A dedicated CCIM leader, Skeans served as President of The CCIM Institute in 2001 and was honored with the Past President Award from the PA/NJ/DE CCIM Chapter in 1983. W. Duncan Patterson Jr., co-founder and President of Patterson Woods & Associates, LLC, began his real estate career in 1973 and served as President of The CCIM Institute in 2000, continuing a family legacy of leadership in the organization.

William Patterson, CCIM, of Wilmington, Delaware, served in the U.S. Army during World War II. In 1961, he founded Patterson-Schwartz & Associates, which is now Delaware’s largest independent Realtor® firm. He served as President of The CCIM Institute in 1975, and was followed by his son Duncan as President in 2000, making them the only father-son combination to lead the organization in its history.
