East Tennessee CCIM Chapter 

H. Pat Wood Memorial Scholarship

Established Date: 04-01-19

H. Pat Wood (1928-2012) was a founder and principal of LawlerWood and Wood Properties, Inc. (now known as SVN | Wood Properties), later serving as Chairman of both firms. Having spent more than thirty years in the real estate industry, he was past chairman of the Tennessee Real Estate Commission and was awarded the designation of CPM by the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Don Brewer CCIM Memorial Scholarship

Established Date: 04-01-19

After nearly a twenty-year career as a tennis professional in Dallas, TX, Don Brewer decided to start a new career in commercial real estate in 1995. After moving back to East Tennessee, Mr. Brewer went to work with Wood Realtors as an affiliate broker, working on commercial and development transactions. By the year 2000, Mr. Brewer started his own company, Realty Investment Services, a full-service boutique commercial real estate firm and achieved his CCIM Designation.

Cherie Ganesh, CCIM Scholarship

Established Date: 04-18-23

Cherie Ganesh, CCIM, has been a dedicated leader since joining the Memphis Metro CCIM Chapter in 1992. After earning her Designation in 1997, she served as Chapter President in 2002. Cherie held various other leadership roles, including Board of Directors for both The CCIM Institute and The CCIM Institute Foundation. Cherie played a pivotal role in growing the chapter by reactivating committees, growing membership by 60%, and strengthening sponsorship programs post-pandemic.

Memphis Metro CCIM Past Presidents Scholarship

This scholarship was created to recognize the past presidents of the Memphis Metro CCIM Chapter.

Martin Edwards, Jr., CCIM Scholarship

Established Date: 08-05-05

Martin Edwards Jr., CCIM, of Memphis, Tennessee, began his real estate career in 1965. He became the first commercial practitioner in the Memphis area to earn the CCIM Designation in 1975. Martin was a CCIM instructor for many years and served The CCIM Institute as President in 1989. He also served the National Associations of Realtors as Treasurer and CFO in 1996 and 1997, and as President in 2002. In 2022, the Memphis Metro CCIM Chapter awarded him the first Memphis Metro CCIM Chapter Life Membership Award.

Middle Tennessee CCIM Chapter

Holly Buchanan CCIM Scholarship

Established Date: 04-19-21

Holly Buchanan, CCIM, is Vice President at Katz & Associates’ Nashville office, which she helped which she helped open in 2017, and has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate in the Southeast region. Holly has been a driving force in the growth and development of the Middle Tennessee CCIM Chapter. She has served in many Board positions through the years, including President in 2015. Holly has also served at the National level on various committees and on the Board of Directors. She is an active member of the ICSC where she has served in numerous leadership roles and is a past president of the CREW Nashville chapter.

Montgomery G. Turner, Sr. Memorial CCIM Scholarship

Established Date: 04-01-19

Monte Turner, CCIM, is the President of Turner & Associates Realty, Inc. in Nashville, Tennessee. He has three decades of experience working in the commercial real estate industry with a primary focus on retail development. Mr. Turner received his CCIM designation in 1996 and has long been an advocate for the Middle Tennessee CCIM Chapter. He served as President of the Middle Tennessee CCIM Chapter in 2004 and was later an RVP for Region 6.

Jim Dunn CCIM Scholarship

Established Date: 04-10-18

im Dunn, CCIM, is President of Keystone Realty Services a commercial and investment real estate brokerage and property management firm operating primarily in the Nashville-Middle Tennessee market area. Mr. Dunn has been active in the Greater Nashville and Tennessee Associations of REALTORS and has co-chaired long- range planning committees for both organizations. Mr. Dunn holds both the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM) Designations. He received his CCIM designation in 1974, was a CCIM instructor for 20 years and has been awarded Life Membership status in The CCIM Institute.

H.G. Hill Realty Company Scholarship

The H.G. Hill Realty Company Scholarship was created by the Middle Tennessee CCIM Chapter to honor the company’s achievements and generosity to the Middle Tennessee real estate community.

Richard Fulton CCIM Scholarship

Established Date: 12-17-13

Dick Fulton, CCIM, of Nashville, Tennessee, is Vice President of Colliers International | Nashville and has more than 30 years of experience assisting corporations with their commercial real estate needs. He taught CCIM courses throughout North America for 15 years. Dick has served as a president of the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors, Commercial Investment Division of the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors, and Commercial Investment Division of the Tennessee Association of Realtors.
