

Leil Koch, CCIM, served as The CCIM Institute President in 2012, becoming the first CCIM national officer from Hawaii. As a 25-year veteran in commercial and residential real estate, he has earned several designations, including CIPS, CPM, and MRICS. Koch is also recognized locally as the Hawaii Association of Realtors’ 2010 Realtor of the Year and the 2006 Hawaii CCIM Chapter Member of the Year.


Tina Yap has been the pillar of the CCIM Hawaii Chapter since becoming its Chapter Administrator in 2005. Her dedication and hard work on both local and national levels are the reason why the Chapter Board of Directors has seamless transitions every year. The Board of Directors of the Hawaii CCIM Chapter attributes the success of the chapter to Tina’s “perfect” organizational and administrative skills.


Allen Johnson, CCIM, of Honolulu, Hawaii, was a World War II veteran and CCIM instructor. He managed his own real estate exchange business for several decades and was one of the founding members of the Hawaii CCIM Chapter. Allen passed away in 2006.


Jimmy Trask, CCIM, of Kailua, Hawaii, developed shopping centers, retail complexes and office buildings, as well as residential projects. He was a CCIM senior instructor, and one of the founding members of the Hawaii CCIM Chapter. Jimmy passed away in 2007.
