ILLINOIS & INDIANA CCIM CHAPTERS

Following are the Named Education Scholarships that are fully funded by the Illinois CCIM Chapter and the Indiana CCIM Chapter to honor individuals for their outstanding service to their CCIM chapter, the commercial real estate industry, and their communities.

ILLINOIS CCIM CHAPTER

Chuck Wiercinski CCIM Scholarship
Established – 04/10/2018
Chuck Wiercinski photoCharles “Chuck” Wiercinski, CCIM, CRB, GRI, had a passion for teaching and mentorship in the real estate community. He was a Senior Instructor for the CCIM Institute and served on many of the Institute’s committees. Chuck specialized in teaching CI 101 and CI 103, which he taught throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Additionally, he regularly taught real estate pre-license and post-license courses and authored several courses for the State of Illinois and nationally. Chuck began his career in residential real estate. Chuck joined McLennan Companies where he served as Senior Broker and Managing Broker and devoted his full efforts to the sale and marketing of commercial/industrial buildings and land in Northern Illinois and Wisconsin. Chuck passed away on December 7, 2014.

John Keepper CCIM Scholarship

John Keepper was born in Waukegan on Oct. 17, 1938. After graduating from Lake Forest College in 1961, he attended OCS in Newport, RI and was commissioned in the US Navy as a missile fire control officer aboard the USS Topeka. John spent his business career as a commercial real estate broker, both with his own company and with CB Richard Ellis and Coldwell Banker Commercial. He was the founding president of the Illinois chapter of the CCIM. Mr. Keepper passed away on August 18, 2012.

Scholarship Value: $1000 (to a University of Illinois Rho Epsilon Society member)

Patricia Tesluk photoPatricia Tesluk, CCIM, entered the commercial real estate industry in 1991 and is the Vice President of Veritas Realty, where she directs the Corporate Retail Services division. Designated as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) in 1997, Tesluk was the Indiana CCIM Chapter President in 2001, has served on CCIM Institute’s Board of Directors and numerous committees, and graduated from the Institute’s Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy in 2006. Tesluk is currently a member of the CCIM Foundation Board of Directors, serving as its president in 2016.

INDIANA CCIM CHAPTER

Joseph Fisher CCIM Scholarship

Joseph Fisher photoJoe Fisher, CCIM, of Indianapolis, Indiana, is President of Fisher Investment Real Estate, a company specializing in real estate investment, development and consulting. He has been an instructor with the CCIM Institute since 1980 teaching in the U.S., China, Korea, U.K., Poland and Russia. Joe is a graduate of the Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy and was CCIM Institute President in 2007.
