IOWA CCIM CHAPTER

Following are the Named Education Scholarships that are fully funded by the Iowa CCIM Chapter to honor individuals for their outstanding service to their CCIM chapter, the commercial real estate industry, and their communities.

David S. Wilson CCIM Scholarship
Established – 4/10/2018
David S. Wilson photo2018 CCIM Institute President-Elect David P. Wilson, CCIM, is the youngest President to hold the position in the Institute’s 51-year history. In addition to his leadership position at CCIM Institute, he is Vice President of Real Estate Development at Ryan Companies US, Inc. Wilson has closed about $600 million in transactions for development projects in 15 states. His specialties include retail, restaurant, healthcare, and senior living projects.

Robert N. Holland CCIM Scholarship
Established – 10/25/2007
Robert N. Holland photoBob Holland, CCIM, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, served in all offices of the Iowa CCIM Chapter, including President, and was an adjunct instructor in commercial real estate at the University of Iowa from 1998 until 2013. He has been an integral part of CCIM Institute since 1992 and is known across the organization as a dedicated volunteer. CCIM Institute awarded him the prestigious Jay W. Levine Award for Distinguished Service in 2013.

Thomas Nordstrom photoTom Nordstrom, CCIM, of Venice, Florida, was Senior Vice President of AEGON USA Realty Advisors until his retirement. He served in all offices of the Iowa CCIM Chapter, including President. He also served on the CCIM Institute Board of Directors for three terms, and is currently on The CCIM Institute Foundation Board of Directors.

Mark Patterson CCIM Scholarship

Mark Patterson photoMark Patterson, CCIM, of Des Moines, Iowa, has served on the Iowa CCIM Chapter Board of Directors since 1993 and was the Chapter President in 1997. He was a founder of the Iowa Commercial Real Estate Expo, the premiere industry event in Iowa. Mark is currently the Commercial Deputy Assessor at the Polk County Assessor’s Office in Des Moines.
