Following are the Named Education Scholarships that are fully funded by the Louisiana CCIM Chapter to
honor individuals for their outstanding service to their CCIM chapter, the commercial
real estate industry, and their communities.

Richard Juge CCIM Scholarship
Established – 12/3/2015
 Richard Juge, CCIM, has been in commercial and investment real estate since 1988. Mr. Juge specializes in handling the needs of corporate clients on a regional basis for many national companies. He is a past President of the LA/MS Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Chapter as well as the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the New Orleans Board of Realtors. He has served on numerous committees within CCIM and was a charter member of the CCIM Partners Advisory Board. Mr. Juge served in 2005 as the Commercial Business & Industry Chair of the LA State Assn. of Realtors and was a founding board member on the now statewide commercial database in LA, www.lacdb.com. Mr. Juge served as President of the CCIM Institute in 2010.

Karl Landreneau CCIM Scholarship
Established – 12/28/2016
 Karl Landreneau has been an active player in matters affecting commercial real estate in Louisiana for the past 10 years. Karl served as the 2006 Chair of the Commercial Business & Industry Team for the Louisiana Realtors Association and he served as President of Commercial Investment Division (CID) of East Baton Rouge Parish in 2007. Karl has been a key player in developing and continuing to improve the Louisiana Commercial Database (LACDB). Mr. Landreneau served as President of the CCIM Institute in 2014.

Edwin A. “Ed” White CCIM Scholarship
Established – 12/28/2016
 Edwin A. “Ed” White, CCIM is a 1972 graduate from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Marketing. He has been in the Commercial/Investment real estate profession since 1976. Mr. White became a Louisiana Licensed Real Estate Broker in 1980, and received the CCIM professional designation from the Realtors National Marketing Institute in 1982. Mr. White has served as President of the Louisiana CCIM Chapter, as a Continuing Education Seminar Instructor for the Metro Board of Realtors, appointed member to the Louisiana Board of Realtors, Jefferson Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) serving on the Business Development and Expansion Committee.

Stewart J. Estopinal CCIM Scholarship
Established – 11/06/2006
 Stewart Estopinal,
CCIM, of New Orleans, Louisiana, was a CCIM instructor for 10 years and active with
many aspects of CCIM Institute governance and leadership. He worked for several
large companies in New Orleans including Joe Cannizaro Interests, RE/MAX Commercial,
and Property One, Inc., and also owned his own company, The New Orleans Land Company.
In addition to brokerage, he was often called on for appraisal and valuation work.
He passed away in 2001 at 43 years of age leaving behind a son and daughter.

Barry H. Spizer CCIM Scholarship
Established – 11/06/2006
 Barry Spizer, CCIM,
of Metairie, Louisiana, is the Founder and the Managing Partner of SRSA Commercial
Real Estate, a company he founded in 1991 that specializes in the leasing and management
of office buildings and retail centers, as well as the sale of commercial land and
investment properties. He has received numerous awards and has been honored twice
by the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors with the award for the highest
volume of commercial sales and leases in the city. Barry was President of the Louisiana
CCIM Chapter in 1989, and President of CCIM Institute in 2003.
