NORTHERN NEVADA CCIM CHAPTER

Following are the Named Education Scholarships that are fully funded by the Northern Nevada CCIM Chapter to honor individuals for their outstanding service to their CCIM chapter, the commercial real estate industry, and their communities.

Brad Bonkowski Memorial, Elk, Scholarship

A CCIM since 2002, Brad Bonkowski was the broker/owner of NAI Alliance Carson City. Brad served as the President of the local Board of Realtors, was selected as Realtor of the Year twice, and was recognized as one of the fairest, most ethical, and sharpest commercial real estate brokers in Northern Nevada. Brad served as a Carson City Supervisor for eight years, and as Acting Mayor after the death of his friend, Mayor Bob Crowell.

Dewey Struble CCIM Scholarship

Dewey Struble, CCIM, has practiced commercial real estate for over 30 years. He has held numerous positions of leadership within the Institute, most notably serving as 1998 national president. Beyond his work on the board of directors, in his local CCIM chapter, and as a member of the CCIM TECH board of directors, Struble is known across the organization as a dedicated friend and mentor. Mr. Struble is the recipient of numerous awards including the prestigious CCIM Jay W. Levine Award for Distinguished Service. Mr. Struble received his Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1967, and his Masters in Aeronautics from the California Institute of Technology in 1968.
