Paul A. Lynn, CCIM of Houston, Texas, has been involved in commercial real estate for over 45 years and is the owner of Paul A. Lynn & Associates, LLC which specializes in Real Estate Auctions. Paul received his CCIM Pin in 1987, served as 1993 President of the CCIM Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter and has maintained continued involvement in the Chapter serving on the Board and advisor to Chapter leaders. Paul is a member of the CCIM Institute Board of Directors and has served on multiple CCIM Institute committees. Paul is a 2010 graduate of the Jay W. H. Jim Crowley CCIM Scholarship

Jim Crowley, CCIM, of Houston,
Texas, served four years in the Navy during World War II and became a real estate
broker in 1963. He was the first president for the Houston/Gulf Coast CCIM Chapter
in 1981 and the only president to serve two terms for the chapter. Jim passed away
in 2010 at 86 years of age.

Frank Fitzgerald,
CCIM, of Houston, Texas began his commercial real estate career in 1973. He served
as President of Houston/Gulf Coast CCIM Chapter in 1983, and President of the Houston
Association of Realtors in 1988. Frank was awarded Realtor of the Year by the Houston
Association of Realtors in 1991, and received a Life Time Achievement Award from
the Houston/Gulf Coast CCIM Chapter in 2005.

Pius K. Leung CCIM Scholarship

Pius Leung, CCIM, of Sugar Land,
Texas, is Principal of SPAK Interests, a company he founded in 1991. He was born
in Hong Kong and moved to the U.S. in 1977. Pius served as CCIM Institute President
in 2005, and is a graduate of the Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy.
He is a senior faculty member of CCIM Institute and faculty emeritus of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). The Houston
Association of Realtors named Pius as International Realtor of the Year in 1998
and Realtor of the Year in 2002, and the National Association of Realtors awarded
him the CIPS Instructor of the Year in 1999. The Houston/Gulf Coast CCIM Chapter
named him 2004 CCIM of the year.

Bob Watson, CCIM,
of Houston, Texas, started his career as an accountant for 6 years before entering
real estate in 1970. He has owned his own real estate company since 1977, and was
recognized as CCIM of the Year in 2004 by the Houston/Gulf Coast CCIM Chapter. Bob
has served the chapter as a board member since 1992, and President in 1996 when
Houston/Gulf Coast was first recognized as Chapter of the Year. He is a graduate
of the Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy and served CCIM Institute as
a board member from 2000 to 2006 and Treasurer in 2005.

Allen Feltman CCIM Scholarship

Allen Feltman, CCIM, has practiced commercial real estate for over 45 years. He received his CCIM designation in 1984 in Washington, D.C. He thankfully credits his mother, who was a broker and leader for many years at Ebby Halliday Realtors, who “pushed” him to get attain the CCIM designation. He served as president of the North Texas CCIM Chapter in 1987 and has held numerous positions of leadership within the CCIM Institute, most notably serving as 1999 national president.

John M. Stone, CCIM, is the chairman of John M. Stone Company, John M. Stone Management Corporation, Stone Financial Corporation, and Stone Equities Corporation of Dallas, Texas and Texarkana, Texas. He holds an MBA in commercial investment real estate from Southern Methodist University. He received his CCIM designation in 1976, served as a CCIM instructor from 1978-1998, held numerous leadership positions in several national and international commercial real estate organizations including the National Association of Realtors, AMPI, IREM, and CIPS. He served as the CCIM Institute (then known as Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute) president in 1991.

Susan McClure, CCIM, is President at McClure Partners in Dallas. McClure has been a CCIM Institute instructor since 2008. McClure earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and History from Stephen F. Austin State University. She also holds a Texas Teacher’s Certificate. Susan McClure has been involved with the North Texas CCIM Chapter since 2007 where she started as a Presidential Liaison. She has held every position within the board: Secretary, Treasurer, First Vice President, and President. She first served as the Chapter’s Education Chair in 2008 and returned to that position in 2014 where she has continued to serve to present day. She also serves on the National Education Committee.

Ralph Bullard Scholarship

Ralph Bullard established Bullard Construction in 1978. It is a Texas owned company based in Addison, Texas and opened their second office in 1999 in McAllen which serves the Rio Grande Valley. Ralph Bullard and Bullard Construction have been fervent supporters of the North Texas Chapter’s Sporting Clays Event since it began. This event raises funds for scholarships and continuing education in the North Texas area. For over 25 years, the chapter has held the North Texas CCIM Annual Sporting Clays Tournament. Proceeds from this event help fund scholarship awards and continuing education opportunities. Ralph Bullard has been a fixture at this event with his memorable stations and overwhelming attendance by his company. They have contributed to the overwhelming success of this event and of the Chapter’s scholarship program.

Alfred W. "Tom" Rohde, III CCIM Scholarship

Having developed over 100 shopping centers over the course of his 50-year career, Rohde Ottmers Realty President Tom Rohde has been active in commercial real estate brokerage and development since 1970 after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin.
It all started at his dad’s real estate firm in 1963. Rohde worked as a bookkeeper and sign installer before rejoining the firm full-time postgrad as a commercial realtor, spending most of his time leasing warehouse and retail space and doing site selection for numerous fast food and retail clients like 7-Eleven Stores, Sambo’s Restaurants, Circle-K Stores, Kroger Food Stores and CiCi’s Pizza, to name a few.
During this time, he continued his studies with the National Association of Realtors, earning a CCIM designation in 1976. He served a founding president of the San Antonio CCIM Chapter and worked for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) from 1995 to 1998, of which he’s been a member since 1970.
Today, Rohde is the responsible broker for Rohde Ottmers Realty, Ltd, a firm specializing in commercial real estate and the responsible broker for Rohde Realty, Inc., a major retail property management firm that currently operates over three million square feet of retail centers.
He is active in the sale of large development tracts, having recently sold tracts ranging from $14.5 million to $40 million, but his specialty is putting together local development groups with investments from local San Antonio families. Most recently, Rohde has worked on a self-owned portfolio of shopping centers, including two Wal-Mart anchored centers in San Antonio and Dallas, Helotes Town Walmart Centre in Helotes, Texas, and Madison’s Market in San Antonio. He’s now working on five new retail centers ranging from 15,000 to 50,000 square feet.
In his free time, Rohde likes to hunt in South Texas and fish in Rockport and spend time with his wife, three children and three grandkids. He has a home in Alamo Heights where he’s resided for the past 21 years.

community after moving to San Antonio in 1983. He was on the boards of the San Antonio/South Texas Chapter of CCIM, San Antonio Board of REALTORS (SABOR), Realtors Commercial Alliance (RCA), Real Estate Council of San Antonio (RECSA) and South Texas Commercial Realtor Alliance. Bob Ayoub, an El Paso native, transitioned from Accounting to Commercial Real Estate Brokerage and Development in 1976. With over 40 years of experience, he is deeply involved in the El Paso community and the CRE industry. Currently serving as the Chief Public Relations Officer at MIMCO Properties, Ayoub holds leadership roles in various organizations. This scholarship, established by MIMCO Properties, honors Bob for his recognition as the 2024 Legend of Real Estate by the Greater El Paso CCIM Chapter, and for his years of service to both MIMCO and the CRE industry.

Len H. Layne started in the real estate business on a small scale in 1978 and grew to be an industry leader in tenant representation. As Austin grew and changed, Len seized the opportunity to begin developing and leasing business parks founding his new company, L. H. Layne Company. An early advocate of saving our environment, Len was a partner in a business that produced “drip-irrigation” products in the early 80’s and was awarded local honors for his use of xeriscaping in his projects around Austin. Len was He was one of the first CCIMs in Austin and participated in establishing the Central Texas chapter.

Butch and Rhonda West CCIM Scholarship

Butch West, CCIM, and Rhonda West, CCIM, CPM, RPA, of Austin, Texas, started their
commercial real estate careers in 1979, initially working in Texas and later in
Hawaii. In 1993, they returned to Texas and founded West Commercial Real Estate
Services to oversee the acquisition, management, leasing and sales of client portfolios.
Rhonda now leads West Commercial Real Estate Services, while Butch is a Managing
Director with Kennedy Wilson. Butch and Rhonda continue to be tireless volunteers
at local and national levels for CCIM, including both having served as President
of the Central Texas CCIM Chapter and as members of the CCIM Institute Board of
Directors.
